Counting down about a week now to the long and highly anticipated Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo (POATE) in Uganda, Tour Operators in Uganda reconfirm how ready they are to meet with you next week at the expo. POATE will take place between 17th and 19th February 2017 at the Jubilee Gardens, at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel.

The Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo, now in its third edition, is growing into one of the most famed tourism events within the East African region and the African continent at large.

In a news update by Business Week, POATE’s core focus for 2017 will be showcasing new products and creating common platforms for key business-to-business relationships and networks that can be used to elevate the growing tourism and hospitality industry. The event will take in all other business spectrums that support tourism under one roof like technology, banking, insurance among others. It will also be open to the public to expose them to what the country has to offer.

While the Expo aims to raise the profile of Uganda as a preferred tourism destination both on the domestic and regional fronts, it will particularly bring to life the many tastes of Uganda with her known wide variety of wildlife, culture, MICE environments, likable weather and a lot more.
