Company Profile

Wild Frontiers has been in operation for 16 years, and Wild Frontiers Uganda for 10 years.  The company offers a range of safaris from private luxury fly-in safaris, to regular scheduled departures.  We have successfully hosted many film crews (BBC, National Geographic, Discovery etc), as well as incentive groups of various sizes.

We have to date, three camps/lodges in Uganda namely:

Ngamba Island Chimpanzee sanctuary, an exclusive tented camp on this island offering forest walks with the orphaned chimpanzees.

Buhoma Lodge, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - located in the national park, offering comfortable accommodation at reasonable rates.  Also, the lodge is currently being upgraded.

Ishasha Wilderness Tented camp - in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National park, a small exclusive safari camp - a must on any safari circuit!

We have a fleet of 4x4 safari vehicles as well as three boats.  Our guides are professionals, and we have an in-house training programme for our staff.  The company has full passenger and public liability insurances, and we are active members of AUTO (Uganda) as well as the head office in Johannesburg being registered with ASATA and SATSA.  24-hour emergency numbers are available to our guests.
