'O sole mio Ltd is the first tour operator run by two Italian photojournalists resident and based permanently in Uganda.

Having travelled widely in many countries of Africa, covering social issues in our reportages, we have decided to stay in the most welcoming place of all the countries we visited: Uganda, the Pearl of Africa.

Our idea of tourism is very unique and far from the typical mass tourism.

We believe that travel means getting to know the culture of the country, meeting the local people and discovering their traditions. We support sustainable tourism projects run by local communities.

We offer custom made safaris in Uganda based on the willingness knowledge of the individual traveller.

Our tours and safaris can include any of the many activities available in Uganda like avi-tourism (bird watching);  primate tracking (gorillas, chimpanzees); safari & game viewing; walking and trekking; cultural excursions; photo tours; mountaineering; sport fishing; boating; white water rafting and many more.

Moreover, we are constructing an eco-sustainable friendly and relaxing lodge on the Ssese Islands on Lake Victoria.
